The Tooth Fairy

That's right, not only did we have a visit from Santa this last week (pictures still to come) but we invited the Tooth Fairy over as well.  Audrey FINALLY lost her first tooth.  She has been anticipating this moment from the time the dentist pointed out to her that she had a tooth starting to wiggle.  That was months ago, and for the last few weeks Audrey has been walking around playing with that darn tooth and letting it just stick out between her lips.  Every time we went out in public she looked like a little Hill-Billy, her tooth poking out of her mouth, unbrushed hair and completely mismatched clothes.  *Remember, it was Christmas break.  It's a wonder we got out of bed every day, actually getting dressed and going somewhere was a wonder.*  So, Friday Audrey had a friends birthday party at a Jump House and her tooth was just dangling.  She could have sneezed that tooth out.  I convinced her that if she didn't want to lose the tooth on the trampoline and not have anything to put under her pillow for the Tooth Fairy she better pull it out now.  That did it.  She went straight to the bathroom mirror and yanked it out.
She has been very proud of her self since and hasn't been able to wait until today to show her teacher and put her name on the chart at school.
