And the Posts Keep Coming!

Since I've picked up momentum, and Preschool was cancelled today, and Lexi has a gogurt and Disney channel is on, I figured why not do one more post this morning?  Besides, I know this is the one most people are waiting for anyway.  Just don't miss the two new posts below this one!
Last Tuesday we went in for my Anatomy Ultrasound.  And I have pictures for you all!  As most of you all ready know Gremlin # 3 is a BOY!  Everyone in our house is excited, or learning to become excited about this news.  Audrey was hoping for a brother from the beginning.  Last Tuesday night we were talking while I was tucking her into bed.  I told her I was happy her wish came true for a brother.  Her reply was this: "I was praying for a brother.  I can't believe I tricked Jesus!"  Lexi on the other hand has been wanting a little sister.  Before we went in for the ultrasound she started saying odd things like, "So the Doctor is going to count how many babies are in your tummy?"  Or "There's four babies in your tummy, right?"  I would tell her there is only one but she didn't like that answer, so she continued with, "Can there be two babies?  A girl and a boy?"  She has finally accepted the fact that there is just one little brother in there and has been heard saying, "When the baby comes out, I will love him!"
So, here are pictures of the little man, who is lovingly referred to as "Spike".  Don't worry Mom, it's nothing permanent!  I will warn you all that the images were much clearer on the big screen at the Doctor's office.  And, you may all be in luck.  I have to go in for another ultrasound in a few weeks (nothing serious he was just hiding his face and the Tech wants to be able to see everything), so hopefully there will be more pictures to share.

Halloween

This post will be a quick one just to show you a few Halloween pics of the girls.  This year was like most, with few variations.  Like always we had three different chances to go trick-or-treating and the girls each have two gallon-sized ziploc's full of candy.  It feels like the Widow's Mite, we will never see the bottom of those bags! 
Since I was very lazy this year and was more interested in getting ready for Disneyland and Grandma's visit I convinced the girls to use something we all ready had at home for costumes.  They both ended up as very pretty Angels.  Thank you Danielle for picking out very versatile Flower Girl dresses!
One thing that was exciting this year is that we finally have our own neighborhood for trick-or-treating.  The one let down is that, apparently we have very un-festive neighbors and only three neighbors on our street were answering their doors, or even had decorations up.  The rest of the neighborhood made up for it though, and it was fun seeing their friends out!

Tim even rushed home from work so he wouldn't miss out on mooching candy from complete strangers with his daughters!

M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E!

A few weeks ago our family was once again spoiled with the opportunity to take a trip to Disneyland!  We were extra excited this year because Tim's Grandma came with us.  I'm sure we wore her out, but she was such a good sport and it made for great memories for the girls.

Oh, and don't tell Lexi, but I had to throw out that lollipop last night.  It wouldn't end!

This year Audrey bought an autograph book for when she met the characters.  We saw a lot this year, but I think our absolute favorite was the Mad Hatter.  He was the first character we saw and he was HILARIOUS!  Alice was nice too, but the Mad Hatter even had Tim laughing.

Lexi was so excited to meet Tink and tell her all about her Tinker Bell room.

No trip can be complete without a hug from the Man Mouse himself!

The girls suprised us this year by trying some new rides.  Lexi's favorite ended up being Splash Mountain (or Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah as we call it).  I was so sad that I wasn't able to go on that one with her, and I forgot to be ready to watch them come down the drop!  Audrey finally decided to try the Haunted Mansion and realized it really wasn't that bad, even though the line was terrible.  Her favorite rides though, suprisingly enough, were the Orchestra Swings and Goofy's Flying School (a mid-size rollercoaster) both at California Adventure.  Our favorite ride as a family was California Soarin' at California Adventure.  I think that was one of  the few rides we were able to actually sit together as a family, due to most rides fitting only 2-3 people at a time and my "kid-making condition".  Another plus to that ride was that we got right on the ride, thanks to Tim's Fast Pass skills, and nobody cried directly before, during or after the ride. 

Thanks Grandma for letting us drag you around the park for hours on end and never loosing that smile!  We had such a great time!

The girls are all ready making their plans for next year.  And, I must admit, so am I!  I think I almost have Tim convinced that with a third gremlin next time we really will need an extra day so we can do as much or more than this year, and Tim and I can FINALLY go on Space Mountain!  Anything you can do to support my case would be much appreciated!!



Sorry Lexi!

What a terrible Mom I must be to take this long to post Lexi's birthday.  It's been 2 months since my little girl turned 4 and I haven't done anything to document it!  And I have so many posts I'll need to add soon: Disneyland, Halloween, and Baby (Boy or Girl? We find out next Tuesday!). 
So, here's to Lexi!
She had a Tinkerbell birthday this year.  We decided on no party, I just wasn't up to preschoolers taking over the house.  On her birthday we had cupcakes and pizza, then a week later we went to Lion King 3D.  She didn't seem to mind how low key everything was, thank goodness!

Lexi is very excited that since she's turned 4 she has started reading on her own.  This is the first book she read to me!  She is so excited to really be one of the big girls and loves her "homework books".  And yes, that is "stinky blankey" behind her.  Apparently, she's not completely ready to give up her younger self.
